On March 26, the Mutilated Ambulance project was launched in Vilnius, through which residents of the Lithuanian capital will be able to see with their own eyes the medical vehicle of the Dergachev Central Hospital of the Kharkiv region, mutilated by bullets and shrapnel.

The Mutilated Ambulance became one of the symbols of the brutality of the russian occupiers against the civilian population. During the temporary occupation by the russian invaders of the villages and towns of the Kharkiv region at the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the russian federation into Ukraine, evacuation trips from the most dangerous places took place on this inconspicuous gray machine.

It was the only all-wheel drive ambulance that could reach even the most remote corners of the region off-road and in bad weather. However, coming under fire, the ambulance was completely disabled, and the driver of the car received numerous injuries. As a result, many people lost the opportunity to promptly receive medical assistance. Such a case is not the only one in Ukraine. Due to the full-scale russian invasion, many medical facilities lost their ambulances during the occupation, shelling, and evacuation of the population.

The project aims to help raise funds for the purchase of ambulances for the needs of affected communities in the de-occupied territories of Ukraine.

The organizers of the project are the 1K.lt Charity Fund and Oleg Surajev, People's Deputy of Ukraine Maria Mezentseva, Olena Fedorova from Kharkiv, the Svitla Meta charity fund together with the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.

For the first time, the Mutilated Ambulance was presented on March 7 in Kyiv on Saint Michael's Square, now this car is located on Kudirkos Square in Vilnius. Next, the project is planned to be presented in Riga, Tallinn, Warsaw, Brussels, Berlin, and other cities, so that as many residents of European countries as possible can see the bloody evidence of the war crimes of the russian army in Ukraine.
