On March 28, the Ukrainian-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce started its operations in Lithuania.

More than 120 participants took part in the solemn founding meeting of the Ukrainian-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce. The event was attended by the Minister of Economy and Innovation of Lithuania Aušrinė Armonaitė, representatives of the Seimas and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, the diplomatic corps, and Lithuanian and Ukrainian business circles.

On the Ukrainian side, the event was attended by representatives of Nova Poshta and NovaPay, Kyiv Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Oles Honchar Dnipro National University, Institute of Engineering Thermophysics of the Ukraine National Academy of Sciences, (Ukrainian International Trade Centre (ITC WTO/UN), companies TETRACOM and others.

‘I am sure that although the Ukrainian-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce is just starting its work, soon even more Ukrainian and Lithuanian entrepreneurs will become its members. After all, despite the difficult situation in Ukraine, the business of both states shows interest in the further development of cooperation and readiness to jointly overcome the difficulties that arose as a result of the full-scale invasion of Russia in Ukraine,’ addressing the participants of the founding meeting of the Ukrainian-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Lithuania Petro Beshta, noted. 

The purpose of the Ukrainian-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce is to create a platform for communication between entrepreneurs and investors, a study of new opportunities, exchange of ideas, experience, and best practices. Ukrainian-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce will help create thriving business ecosystems in both countries by providing companies with the instruments and resources they need to succeed.
